Range Hoods
A range hood is a metal cover which houses a ventilation blower and is placed above a stove/oven. The range hood can be integrated with your existing duct work or can be a ductless or ventless range hood which features a re-circulating ventilation blower. The range hood is a custom design specially constructed to fit the space above your oven generally between upper cabinets. The hood can be sculpted in a variety of shapes and sizes limited only by your own imagination. The hood is constructed of sheet metal and angle iron and can be adorned with an array of different accents to achieve your personal style. Likewise, a selection of colors and finishes can be chosen to give the range hood your desired look and style. Generally, range hoods are finished with an acid treatment or patina for an old world, rusted or Grecian look or a powder coating treatment for a traditional, contemporary or modern feel. The acid treatments and patinas are like copper in that the finishes change over time. No particular pattern or coloring can be guaranteed with the acid treatments of patinas as the finish is a process and is different each and every time it is applied to a product. We feel that this adds to the uniqueness of your product. Powder coating finishes, on the other hand, provide a finish that never changes over time and is consistent from product to product. Copper, stainless steel, bronze or a plethora of other finishes can be achieved through the powder coating process.
